Role Overview
The Digital Analytics and Monetisation Group (DAMG) has grown rapidly over recent years in response to the increasing need for Third-Party Relations (TPR) to make data-led decisions and build effective strategies with our partners.
DAMG is looking for a seasoned business intelligence analyst to join our team in a dynamic and rewarding environment.
This role will report to the Manager of the BI team and own relationships with some of our strategic partners to provide best-in-class engagement and monetisation insights. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and cross-functionally between global departments. Strong analytics skills and exceptional interpersonal skills are a must for this role.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage strategic accounts, providing regular business reviews and recommendations to drive growth and retention.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop reporting and analytics solutions that address those needs.
- Analyse large datasets and develop insights and recommendations based on trends and patterns.
- Develop and maintain complex reports and dashboards to track business performance.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to other team members to enhance their analytical capabilities.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and business partners.
What we’re looking for:
- Ideally an understanding or strong interest in the video game industry and become familiar with the businesses and needs of assigned accounts.
- Proven years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence related roles.
- A graduate degree in business, computer science, statistics, or a related field is preferred. Sufficient experience and skills will be considered in lieu of educational requirement.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present detailed analyses to a broad audience range.
- Work autonomously to prioritize workflow and manage deliverables.
Desired:
- Prior work experience in gaming, entertainment, or media industries.
- Experience in data mining, data science modelling and statistical analysis.
