Lead Narrative Designer | Unannounced Project (M, NB, W)

Job Description
Working closely with the Narrative Director, the Lead Mission Designer and the Lead Narrative World Designer, you will be responsible for the voice and voiceless writing of a next generation game. With strong management and writing skills, you will organize the production for a team of narrative mission designers and their pairing overseas writers, distribute the tasks and communicate with other teams across several studios.
- Ensure that the Narrative director creative vision is respected during the production phases, including (but not limited to) development of main characters and key narrative moments, from initial design to the final game.
- Make the narrative material accessible to the teams that require it (writers, narrative designers, mission designers, narrative world designers).
- Lead the development and presentation of the main story, the main characters and their arcs with the narrative director, realization director and art director
- Ensure the overall coherence of the storyline/scripted events throughout the game
- Ensure the alignment with the creative vision when developing the main characters and key narrative elements, from the conception phase to the release of the game
- Ensure the quality of the script, scene-breakdowns and final edits of the scenes and cinematics
- Collaborate with the different teams (level designers, game designers, artists, animators, audio designers, etc…) to ensure that all the narrative elements are correctly integrated
- Collaborate with world teams to ensure the consistency of the narrative context
This role will also bring you to build and drive a team of five. You will have to make sure that the team remains on time, always within the boundaries of the narrative creative director's vision.
Qualifications
A strong writing experience in the video games industry is mandatory, particularly on GaaS (game as a service) and open world games. You know them and understand how they work.
You have already managed at least a team, ideally in an agile framework and you have strong communication, organization and time management skills.
Fluent or native Englis is mandatory.
If you like military environnements, that's a plus!
