Your Mission
The Ethics & Compliance team at Activision Blizzard is growing fast. This is a unique opening ideal for someone who is excited about the opportunity to manage a variety of investigations across an important region for the company.
The Investigator, EMEA will report to Senior Director, Ethics & Compliance Investigations based in the US, with dotted line to Legal function in EMEA. Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end investigative processes for legally privileged investigations and other workplace investigations, including intake meetings, initial assessment, investigative interviews, document review and report drafting.
- Enhance and improve the company’s investigation strategies and processes to prioritize employee support.
- Advise appropriate remedial action to be taken as a result of investigations
- Analyze investigation trend and advise the company on the risk metrics.
- Deliver and support training relating to investigations and compliance.
- Advise on compliance with region-specific legal and regulatory requirements to ensure that appropriate procedures and controls are implemented in the investigation process.
Player Profile
Experience:
- Extensive experience in compliance and investigations. Experience working in an in-house legal or compliance function with international exposure preferred.
Knowledge & Skills:
- J.D., L.L.M, or equivalent law degree from a reputable law school.
- Strong working knowledge of local regulations that are relevant to investigations, including local employment laws, data privacy regimes, anti-money laundering laws and other compliance topics, and the ability to appropriately spot compliance risks and issues.
- Ability to use analytical skills to efficiently distill relevant information.
- Business and people acumen, and ability to influence employees, managers, and leaders at all levels.
- Exceptional writing and communications skills, with a demonstrated ability to provide direct feedback and persuasively convey recommendations.

- Ability to exercise sound judgment, while balancing acting with a sense of urgency and need for attention to detail.
- Intellectual curiosity and commitment to learning.
Extra Points:
- Fluency in one or more European languages (in particular Spanish) preferred but not required.
