Lead Infrastructure Engineer

We’re looking for a talented Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join our Unity P & Reliability Engineering team in Helsinki. You should be well versed in the technologies for building modern web applications and at large scale and operating within a larger organization. You understand the different requirements that are brought upon by continuous deployment and high-availability. In this position, you would work directly with development and infrastructure team s.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small to medium-sized software engineering team
• Roadmapping together with the product team
• Ensuring efficient team level project management
• Contributing to engineering work
• Developing a strong and supportive leadership culture
• Collaborate cross-functionally, to deliver tools which enable dev teams to own their services, and releasing high quality
• Helping your team members grow personally and professionally

Requirements

• Solid experience in leading software development on a wide variety of technologies
• Experience with Google Cloud and/or Amazon Web Services
• Experience with Docker-based deployment systems
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in English
• Experience in modern build systems

Bonus Points

• Experience in setting up and maintaining message queue systems
• Experience in setting up and maintaining database clusters
• Experience in managing Kubernetes at scale
• Experience in other cloud technologies
