Overview
The ZeniMax Media Inc. Enterprise Services Team is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Administrator to join the team. Your primary responsibilities will include the support, maintenance, and optimization for all facets of the corporate IT infrastructure at ZeniMax Online Studios in Hunt Valley. Our environments comprise both Windows and Linux, and this role will apply their talents to both. This is a partially on-site role, with some flexibility for remote work.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and support all physical infrastructure for server room(s) and IDF’s at the Hunt Valley, Maryland site
- Monitor, maintain, and support the storage and server systems up to and including the OS level
- Suggest and lobby for work on technical debt and non-functional improvements
- Collaborate with central IT teams and studio development partners to deliver the optimum hardware configuration for a given set of requirements
- Mentor local infrastructure and support team members
- Triage and support escalation point for the local support team
- Capacity management for on-site power, space, cooling, and other infrastructure
- Participate in on-call rotation for the site
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Infrastructure or Systems Administration
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience of being a lead or Senior Administrator
- Good understanding of best practice in data center operations and support
- Good knowledge of enterprise class storage and compute systems: Dell, HP, NetApp, etc.
- Enterprise environment experience with Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, Redhat)
- Enterprise environment experience with Windows Server
- Clear communicator and active listener

Salary Range
Lead Infrastructure Administrator - The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $125,000 - $240,000 per year.
ZeniMax has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
