Day in the life of a Unreal Engine Lead Programmer:

As an Unreal Engine Lead Programmer at Sumo Nottingham, you will be responsible for driving our projects to success. You'll bring to the table a wealth of experience, having acted as a lead on at least one shipped title, demonstrating your ability to guide a team to deliver exceptional results. Your skills extend to efficiently planning and scheduling work for a code team, ensuring smooth project workflows. With hands-on expertise in C/C++, you're well-versed in the intricacies of game development. Your versatility shines as you possess experience in both PC and console programming. Your excellent communication skills will be instrumental in fostering collaboration across teams.

What do you need to do this job:

• Acted as lead on at least 1 shipped title

• Experience planning and scheduling work for a code team

• Expertise in C/C++, minimum of 5 years' experience

• 4 years' experience working in the game industry

• Experience in PC and/or console programming

• Excellent communication skills

• Experience working on at least one large scale game project
