Lead Game Software Engineer

- Grow a team of game programmers to create immersive and compelling gameplay experiences
- Assign technical tasks to team members, conduct code reviews
- Work with existing code base to develop and enhance gameplay (player and world interaction, AI strategies and rules, etc.)
- Develop well designed software within project schedule and standards
- Document code features
- Debug and optimize code to hit performance targets
- Continue to enhance programming and communications skills and spread knowledge
- Communicate with QA
- Provide/accept guidance and assistance when required
- Participates in hiring
Requirements
- Excellent C++ skills (5+ years of professional C++ experience)
- Team lead experience in commercial game development
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Expertise at least in two distinct game-related topics (UI, animation/movement, AI, etc.)
- Good communication skills and fluent spoken English
