We are a dynamic interdisciplinary team at Blackmouth Games (https://www.blackmouthgames.com), an indie studio driven by a vision to redefine the landscape of next-generation online gaming.

At Blackmouth Games, we strive to innovate and create unique experiences that push the boundaries of what is possible in the gaming industry. To achieve this, we are currently seeking a full-time Lead Game Designer to join our talented team.

Minimum requirements

- Proactive person with high organizational skills and excellent communication skills (active listening, patience and empathy).

- Experience in leadership, applied to the design team (>10 people), of RPG mechanics and systems applied to combat, levels, game balance and NFT economy.

- Solid knowledge of DB applied to Excel/Sites.

- To have participated, at least, in the development of a video game, of similar published position (retail).

Desired requirements

- Experience in multiplayer game development.

- Having participated as DESIGNER in a title from its conception to its launch.

- Experience working with large multidisciplinary teams (>10 people).

- Ability to work in a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary and iterative environment.

- WEB3 knowledge.

Responsibilities

- The person occupying the role of LEAD GAME DESIGNER will be part of the design team dealing with:

-- Maintenance of the design pipeline comprising the GDD documentation of system definition of both the WEB3/NFT flow (from conception to release), as well as the progression systems and combat formulas that dominate the main items of the project:

---- Weapon balancing.

---- Level design.

---- Maintaining the documentation of

---- Utilities and loot system.

---- Test analysis.

---- R&D mechanics.

-- Work closely with the main departments (Art, Dev and Marketing) to iterate and polish both the correct functioning of both systems and the communication of these to the players.

-- Identify the concerns of the rest of the team and propose solutions based on them.
