Lead Game Designer (Metaverse)

That’s why we’ve made it our mission to build the next generation of technologies for online multi-user games and simulations. As part of that, we are launching a series of AAA groundbreaking experiences connected by a common virtual world to players around the globe.
Your Mission
We are looking to create new massive online experiences in collaboration with our community and partners. We have already started this journey by holding the ScavLab event with over 4,000 players crowding into a single world, and a live Meet and Greet with K-Pop star AleXa attended by thousands of fans.

Areas for Impact
- Be accountable for areas of the game, encompassing multiple features and gameplay systems
- Direct more junior designers in creating features throughout the design and implementation process
- Design gameplay features that set a standard for others to follow
- Manage a growing team of designers and technical designers
- Inspire and motivate the design team to produce high-quality content within the project deadlines
- Oversee the design and balance of complex gameplay systems and mechanics
- See your work in players hands and iterate over time with player feedback
- Solve problems and improve the player experience by collaborating closely with other disciplines
We would love to hear from you if you identify with the following:
- A desire to grow and develop a team, considering each individual's wellbeing, differing needs and goals for their careers
- A desire to understand the moment-to-moment, hour-to-hour, day-to-day and week-to-week impact of the features you design
- Proven experience with gameplay balance and content iteration
- Display a high degree of discipline in following and creating design processes
- A passion to create mechanics that layer together to create depth and complexity without overwhelming the player An understanding of the value of using Jira (or another tracking methodology) to organize work and communicate priorities and design goals
- Ability to prioritize & manage end-to-end design projects across the team, interfacing with different disciplines
- A desire to create guides, and other important documentation for more junior designers
- A passion to mentor more junior designers, growing their skills through feedback
- Familiarity with one or more game engines or packages, e.g.: Unreal, Unity, etc
