You will join collaborates across design, engineering, art, and central service teams: our mission is to drive innovation at Wooga through deep qualitative & quantitative research.
We're looking for a passionate and results-oriented Lead Analyst to join and mentor our team. You will develop new insights to shape data-driven decisions, continuously improve our player’s experience, and thereby help us to generate business growth for years to come. Some of your other responsibilities will include
- Leading, coaching, and mentoring the team of talented Game Analysts working together on one of our most successful titles
- Building and maintaining solid partnerships with key stakeholders across the company to deliver actionable data insights successfully.
- Develop an analysis strategy and perform analysis of complex scenarios and AB-tests, both systematically and on a one-off basis. Help your team define how best to measure and monitor our product and its features.
- Initiate and lead projects in light of opportunities & risks emerging from data analysis in order to improve and optimize our players’ engagement / monetization / liveops activities / in-game’s economic balance.
- Partner with Data Science and Data Engineering Teams on delivering game-specific projects and company-wide strategic data initiatives
- Communicate actionable results and findings derived from data throughout the organization in a clear, concise way to the leadership team;
- Be the pro-active owner of the entire data chain for your product.
- Be a part of the game’s leadership team and the ambassador of the Analytics domain in relevant discussions and forums.
About you
- You are passionate about the discipline and have proven working experience as a data analyst in a leadership role, preferably in the app industry or related field.
- You can use SQL effectively, and you have some experience using Python or another programming language to manipulate and analyze data.
- You have good problem-solving skills and can look for logical connections between consumer behavior and data.
- You know your way around designing, communicating, visualizing, or reporting your results/analysis, so they are unambiguous.
Nice to have
- Experience in the games industry
- Understanding of behavioral psychology
- Robust understanding of more advanced statistical techniques suitable for analysis of highly skewed populations
- Experience in predictive analytics, segmentation, and related areas
- Skills with reporting tools such as Tableau, Periscope, Mode, etc.
