• Firewalk™ is working on a new multiplayer IP to be exclusively published by PlayStation
• Cauldron™ is developing a single-player, adventure-driven game
• Our RPG Team is creating a next-gen co-op RPG

The Role
We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer, Engine for the Game Services team. This team's mission is to magnify the engineering teams across all studios, bringing specialized knowledge and common solutions so they can focus on making the game fun. In this role, you will set the team's culture, work with the leadership of each studio to understand their needs and define how your team works to maximize its impact across all studios. It requires the ability to empathize with our development teams while simultaneously pushing to write high-quality, scalable, easy-to-maintain, reusable, and centralized software.

- Evaluate studio specific game engine requirements and translate them into technology solutions that benefit the whole company
- Build positive and collaborative relationships with studio teams
- Mentor other engineers in coding, system development, and time management
Qualifications
- Professional experience in the game industry as a software engineer, with deep practical knowledge in game engine and systems development using C/C++
- Professional experience as the lead or manager of a software engineering team
- Worked on every stage of AAA game development, from preproduction to launch
- Experience working with Unreal Engine 4
Bonus Points
- Experience working on a cross-platform game title
- Experience shipping on multiple platforms (PC, Consoles, etc.)
