We are presenting a rare opportunity for a highly motivated Lead Designer to join the Golf Clash team and help us to continue to grow and develop our game.
After a comprehensive onboarding experience, you will have the opportunity to lead the design on a globally successful game enjoyed by millions.
You will join an experienced, multi-disciplined team working on maintaining and developing existing content roadmaps, while also improving key metrics by designing new and interesting features. You'll provide feedback and support junior members of the team and work with the production team build an effective product roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Work with Production to identify key areas of improvement and market opportunities.
- Provide guidance, encouragement and feedback to the design team, mentoring them as they develop their skills.
- Collaborate with Code, Design, Art and Business Intelligence teams to create fun and engaging content and features.
- Clearly document and communicate designs with the wider team.
- Be attuned to timelines and deliver work to maintain a cadence of releases.
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of the game mechanics and the systems that support it.
- Monitor player feedback and communities to help inform design direction.
- Assist Production in the development of the design team through acquisition of new talent.
Key Skills
- Significant experience leading a design team on Mobile F2P.
- Experience working on a live game and managing an active user-base through live operations.
- Knowledge of the top mobile games in the market and what makes them successful.
- Strong Excel experience, especially in relation to modelling and balancing game systems.
- Technical skills and knowledge of game development tools.
- Strong copywriting skills and a marketing mindset.
- A keen eye for detail to achieve the highest standards of quality.
- Strong analytical skills and a firm grasp F2P metrics.
Bonus Skills
- Experience supporting games, with a significant user base, through maintenance, new feature deployment and live operations.
- Interest in mobile games, with an understanding of the free-to-play genre.
- Educated to degree level in a game design related subject, or equivalent experience.
- An appetite for learning and a desire to continually improve your design skills.
- An eye for efficiency to improve workflow in the level-design process.
