Lead Designer

Job description:

1. Act as a lead to work with the game design team to execute gameplay and economy loops design based on the product vision, market analysis and customer needs.
2. Work closely with the Live Director and Project Leads to align design with project goals
3. Independently initiate design and coordinate with development team to ensure launch of game systems, and follow up live metrics post-deployment.
4. Coordinate the numerical design of the design team
5. Act as a mentor to coach junior members on the team

1. 6+ years of game development experience
2. Shipped titles as a Senior or Lead Designer on PC or console
3. A thorough understanding of design principles for MMORPG models (digital download, premium, free-to-play, etc)
4. Must be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of data informed design
5. Highly self-motivated and proactive

• Experience with Agile development
• Enthusiasm for on-going learning and development
• Knowledge of EVE Online
• Experience with SLG model design
