The role @ Red Kite Games

Red Kite are working on a variety of exciting games and has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced designer to strengthen, shape and lead our design team. In this role you will help to create, maintain and evangelise our design best practices, collaborating closely with all teams across the studio.

In your new role you will:

· Work closely with the Creative Director to develop, manage and implement design standards and requirements across a wide variety of projects.

· Help to create new game pitches and present them as required.

· Work on a wide variety of projects and tasks, helping to review, tweak and balance gameplay.

· Liaise with other areas of the studio and external partners to facilitate development.

· Supervise the creation and maintenance of detailed design documentation.

· Troubleshoot design issues from a creative standpoint.

· Mentor and share knowledge with the team.

To be successful you will have:

· Shipped multiple titles in a senior design role.

· A proven ability to present ideas to wide variety of audiences, both technical and non-technical in a succinct manner.

· An excellent understanding of past and current game trends.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Inspirational leadership skills.

Experience in any of these areas will be advantageous but not essential:

· Shipped one or more titles in a lead design role.

· C# or other scripting language.

· Unity.

· Unreal Engine.
