Job Summary
PeopleFun is seeking a Lead Casual Game Designer to join our growing team.
Are you an experienced casual designer with experience creating content/levels for puzzle, word, and/or block games? Are you able to create content taking feedback and iterating to completion? If so, this may be the perfect place for you.
Candidates must be able to get to the heart of player feedback and iterate upon their designs using data to build and test various level ramps and make significant updates to drive our games forward.
Responsibilities
- Design innovative levels that maximize the fun of both new and established mechanics
- Take levels from concept and exploration through final in-game implementation
- Engage in creative ideation and problem solving
- Tune level difficulty and pacing in response to data
- Manage and improve content tools
Requirements
- 5+ years professional experience in game design (not including internship)
- 2+ years of professional experience in mobile, casual, Free to Play (F2P) gaming
- Demonstrated technical understanding of Unity and version control (Github)
- Prior experience shipping at least one F2P game title
- Prior experience within a live game environment
- Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively in a distributed team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Jira, Slack, and Google suite (Specifically Drive and Sheets)
- Motivated and passionate about mobile game development
