Aristocrat Technologies is seeking an Sr. Data Analyst to drive data analytics, ongoing and ad-hoc Power BI reporting of an expanding suite of metrics in the Technology Operations team. This is and Individual Contributor role which will be functionally aligned with Global Business Transformation team that supports a wide array of activities as part of the Global Program Mgmt and Operations team. This role will report into the Head of Technology Operations, India team and work with key stakeholders from the Global Technology operations hierarchy.
Around 6 to 8 years of Industry experience based out of Gurugram-location. This critical role will require establishing a strong partnership with the Program Management & Technology Operations team leadership, the teams across other business functions to which Program Mgmt and Operations team provides its services.
This is a pivotal role that will work on doing data analytics, key metrics reporting and data support for executive decision making. This role will have ownership of deliverables that will have an impact at organization level. It will provide an opportunity to learn and bring quantifiable value to the business under dynamic and challenging situations.What You'll Do
- Total experience of 8-10 yrs with 3-4yrs rich experience working w/Power BI including strong knowledge and expertise in DAX and M Query
- Expertise in building data models from disparate data sources including; Excel, Odata data sources (such as Project Online), SQL, JIRA and SharePoint Online
- Detail oriented with experience in documenting user requirements and translating them into Data models and reports
- Experience in administrating Project Online is helpful.
- Experience in developing Power Automate/PowerApp solutions is a plus
- Work with stakeholders to collect & analyze requirements, documenting user requirements and translating them into Data models and reports
- Conduct data discovery, analysis, validate business requirements, convert inputs into functional design for reporting.
- Develop and implement data extraction procedures to integrate data from various sources like MS Access, SharePoint, Excel, JIRA, RDBMS into a warehouse/data lake.
- Create metadata, entity relationship diagram, business processes and process flow.
- Develop reports and dashboards using Power BI.
- Cater to ad hoc data requests and conduct analysis to provide valuable insights to stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal/communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with others and demonstrated collaborative skills.
- Good understanding of basic project management methodologies (Waterfall, agile etc).
- Understanding of IT environments, infrastructure, and architectures strongly preferred
- Advanced to expert level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Proven communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
What We're Looking For
- Education/degree: BCA , MCA, BE and B Tech
- 8-10 yrs of industry Experience with 3-4yrs experience working w/Power BI reporting
- Experience in Casino Gaming / Digital Gaming Domain preferred.
- Good understanding of project management fundamentals
- Fair understanding of Software Quality Processes & Product Development Lifecycle
- Working knowledge of tools like TFS, Clarity, JIRA, other Project Management tools in business.
