We recently announced the largest Series A raise in gaming history at $250 million, which provides our teams with the resources and creative environment needed to foster stable, rewarding, and life-long careers.
The Role
One of our unannounced teams is searching for a world-class Lead Concept Artist to develop a unified and compelling style and designs for an exciting new game and IP. Your mission is to drive visual direction and create exciting and memorable characters, props and environment concepts with a small and close-knit team.

- You are fiercely passionate about games and what they mean to our players and believe your art should serve the broader player experience above pure aesthetic goals.
- You keep the full picture in mind and create designs that work in harmony with the teams’ various disciplines.
- You love gathering inspiration from countless resources and relish creating create back stories, histories, biographies and more for your designs.
- You have a deep understanding of human anatomy and a detailed eye towards form, shape, structure and silhouette.
- You embrace the challenge of creating visually diverse concepts within the scope of game design limitations.
- You are well organized and dependably deliver tasks on time.
What You Will Do
- Partner with the teams’ artists, designers, writers, directors and engineers on creatively complex assignments to develop an inspiring art vision.

- Define, iterate and drive designs and art style guides for characters, props, environments, VFX, UI, graphic art and cinematics.
- Collaborate with the Environment Team to create mood paintings, color studies and lighting keys.
- Meet with gameplay and level designers to make sure your designs align with the overall gameplay goals and evaluate how they are working in context of the game.
- Provide exceptionally consistent, reliable, and outstandingly articulated notes and feedback to internal or external artists and vendors.
- Balance creativity and time management to deliver high quality results and feedback within deadlines.
- Playtest every day and give feedback, even on non-art related work.
Qualifications
- Art Leadership experience
- 5+ years industry experience designing for game or film

- Adaptability to the latest technology in your discipline to aid in your craft
- Ability to create detailed illustrations and IP defining key-art

- Have shipped a AAA video game title as a concept artist
