We are looking for a Lead Cinematic Artist to join our team of artists, designers, programmers and other creatives to create compelling in-game cinematics which will tell the story of our game and world. As a Lead Cinematic Artist you will collaborate with our Narrative Team, Art Team, Design Team and Engineers to bring innovative cinematics to life at AAA quality. You’ll use a combination of Storytelling and Cinematography to capture game play and dialogue while helping create the delivery of all narrative moments in the game. We are looking for an artist who can communicate effectively, problem solve, and raise the project’s technical and visual standards. You will have a broad impact and a lot of room to define direction.

Basic Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

In game cinematic experience.
1+ AAA game cinematics shipped.
Exceptional cinematography skills.
Exceptional story telling skills.
Experience with motion capture shoots.
Has experience driving and coordinate cinematic and interactive moments in games.
Great understanding of narrative in stories for cinematics especially in gameplay storytelling.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $304,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
