Job Description
As a member of the Art team, you will be responsible for the delivery and quality of the graphic mandate to the team of artists. You will work in close collaboration with the Lead team and the Art Director.
As such, your main missions will be to :
- Recruit, support and develop a team of artists in order to achieve ambitious goals,
- Structure and organize the production of the team in order to build a successful team,
- Collaborate with your team and other disciplines to bring strong ideas to the project level,
- Participate in establishing an excellent collaboration with our partner studios, a key element of success,
- Participate in the improvement of the production pipeline of assets, textures and ensure that it is well understood,
- Plan, prioritize and manage the daily tasks of the team, ensuring that the objectives are met in terms of deadlines, constraints and quality.
Qualifications
- You have significant experience as an environmental/props artist and as a Lead Artist
- You have experience of at least one successful production as a Manager
- You know the constraints related to real time and master the current graphic tools (Zbrush, Painter, 3ds, Maya, etc.)
- Your communication skills, your artistic judgment, your proactivity and your team spirit are among your strong points
- You have a technical English, and you have no problems to express yourself orally nor to understand your professional interlocutors
Expected skills:
- Excellent knowledge of the game development process and of the interactions between the artistic, design and technical professions
- High artistic sense, mastery of the latest modeling techniques and the PBR pipe, ability to recognize quality work and to provide suggestions for improvement if necessary
- Demonstrate leadership and be able to lead your team in a constantly changing environment
- Have a sense of organization and anticipation while demonstrating creativity
- Ability to collaborate and communicate in a constructive manner
- Have a sense of initiative and be determined to achieve high results
