Lead Art Producer - World of Warcraft

The World of Warcraft art team is a high functioning team of some of the most talented artists in the video game industry. This opening is for a Lead Art Producer that will work with the artists on the World of Warcraft team to help bring their ideas to life.

You will apply your production background and knowledge to help the art team produce art within the scope and needs of the project. You are someone who can help the individuals and teams stay on track and help provide necessary information for completing project milestones. Your time will be dedicated to helping the team achieve the best possible outcome from our collective efforts. The ideal candidate will have a background in video game production.

DAY TO DAY TASKS:

• Oversee production for all of World of Warcraft art teams.
• Manage the team of Art producers (including annual reviews) and provide guidance/support to ensure project goals, objectives, milestones, and deliverables are achieved.
• Standardize process and status reporting methodologies for art production.
• Communicate art activities and progress updates to senior leadership and the development team.
• Partner with art and production leadership to make informed decisions on work methods, development pipelines, and priorities.
• Participate in production leadership planning/strategizing for WoW.
• Work closely with Loc/Regions to “think globally” about our content and make sure our creative leads/directors have the most up-to-date information regarding regulations/ratings.

YOUR BACKGROUND:

• Senior-level production experience in game development.
• AAA game experience (preferably MMO) with responsibility for producing a significant portion of the content.
• Strong organization, communication, and strategic planning skills.
• Experience tracking a complex project and providing insight and influence into how to deliver more effectively and mitigate risks.
• Calm and deliberate within a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment.
