What We’re Looking For:
We are looking to bring in a passionate Lead Account Specialist with 3-5 years of experience and a solid understanding of the mobile app advertising industry and user acquisition strategies. You will hone your partnership skills with external and internal clients. You will analyze performance reports to provide exemplary data-driven insights and results to improve app developers’ business objectives and growth.
The Client Services team is composed of self-driven, growth-oriented, strategic thinking, client-centric members. The Lead Account Specialist is responsible for owning, managing, and growing key partnerships with Japan-based B2B accounts in mobile app advertising. This is a high-profile customer-facing role requiring outstanding relationship management and strategic account optimization skills. Aarki is looking for a professional who wants to make a direct impact on revenue on the growth of both the advertiser and the company business through performance marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver top-line revenue growth by maintaining and growing strategic partnerships with key accounts.
- Understand the clients’ business needs, share insights, and collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver on the clients’ objectives and picture of success
- Prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and adapt to changes quickly both internally and externally
- Work cross-functionally to ensure that internal and external partner projects are on track and executed to a high standard by Team Leads, Creative, Analysts, Data Science, or Product teams
- Preemptively spot any potentially problematic patterns and lead efforts to address any issues internally and externally
- Track and report on campaign performance using cohort analysis. Uncover growth and optimization opportunities within your own queries and reports
- Function as the voice of the client and provide internal feedback on product improvements, bug fixes, and any other client comments or concerns
- Prepare client presentations and effectively communicate key campaign or product updates, trends, insights, and growth recommendations
- Quickly learn about products, including new releases or updates, and translate that knowledge into client-centric actionable growth plans
- Partner with marketing to align on sponsor and event content as well as client case studies and industry blog posts
- In accordance with health guidelines, periodic travel may occur to visit clients and attend industry events
- Attend internal and external meetings across different time zones
Your Skillz:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Business, Marketing, Communication Arts, or Mathematics.
- 3-5 years of proven experience and understanding of mobile app marketing, programmatic advertising, account management, client services, or sales in a professional environment, preferably within the ad tech industry. Bonus points for leading mobile user acquisition campaigns (User Acquisition Manager manager, Growth Marketer), ad campaign optimizations in order to improve ROI (decrease CPI, increase LTV/ARPU)
- Passion for going above and beyond to help Aarki’s team and clients achieve success and the ability to build, maintain and grow partnerships at all levels of the organization
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple clients at various stages of the customer lifecycle
- Strong analytical and reporting skills (adept in analysis and presentation).
- Competency in interpreting datasets for performance and trend analysis and turning insights into actionable recommendations
- Excellent sense of accountability and ownership. Ability to meet tight deadlines across multiple projects and maintain strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and with a team, a strong desire to contribute to the growth phase of a company that emphasizes employee engagement
- With exemplary communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, active listening), negotiation/influencing skills.
- Must have strong problem-solving and follow-through skills and be able to work independently, interact with various levels of management.
- Mastery of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (charts, pivot tables, and other analysis tools with ease)
- Japanese and English proficiency (reading, writing and speaking)
