Job Overview
As a Lead Artist you will be handling all aspects of the art production such as art processes, tools, final quality rendering, tasks definition and scheduling. You will be communicating with the Discipline Leads, Art Directors, Project Managers and the Producers to identify risks in the production features, integrating their feedback to the team and optimizing pipelines.
This role requires a sharp eye, exceptional drawing skills, understanding of light, perspective and materials so as and ability to generate new ideas on the go. You are capable to improve all the arts from your artists. As a Team Lead you will be empowering your team, meeting deadlines and mentoring artists.
If you can balance creativity and discipline, have strong organizational skills as well as self-management and motivation this role is for you.
What will you do?
- Lead art team in development of AAA quality assets
- Distribute team tasks, schedule features production and maintain planning foresight
- Align artists with specified tasks
- Maintain effective communication flow to the team to ensure all the members are aligned with the project requirements
- Provide regular review and give constructive feedback
- Empower team creativity and participation from all team members
- Maintain efficient collaboration between the team members, communicate effectively with other teams within the product group
- Maintain a close working relationship with your direct manager, producers, leads, directors and other teams to push project quality
- Raise the bar for the project by demanding high results from self and team members
- Actively participate in constant improvement of work methods and pipelines
- Share knowledge, mentor artists and recommend best practices in your area of operation

- Excellent knowledge of 2D software (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
- Excellent drawing skills on Wacom tablet
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
