Your Mission

As a Language Specialist manager you will serve as the primary leader on the external relations language specialist team. You will partner with the team’s leads and project managers to strategize and execute marketing translation for Activision content.

You will be taking the lead on what is a new initiative for Activision Blizzard Dublin, guiding the formation of a new team of experts, and helping to design the framework within which the team will work.

Externally, you will be proactively reaching out to understand our stakeholders needs, creating and sustaining key relationships which will allow us to anticipate their demands and timelines.

As a member of the department’s leadership team, you will be a champion in maintaining internal and external client relations and inspire the team through peer influence and example-setting.

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

Player Profile

Minimum Requirements:

Must be highly adaptive in order to address the translation needs of each long and short term marketing strategy on multiple AAA franchises, in multiple languages

Able to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines; organized, detail-oriented and friendly

Must be able to apply knowledge, experience, and learnings to real situations to help solve problems and create new solutions

A proven track record of internal and external stakeholder relationship management, leading to success.

3-4 years of people management and creative leadership required

Experience in the Translation industry required

Experience with marketing practices, project management and/or creative media desirable

BA or equivalent in a similar field such as translation, linguistics, communications etc.
