Responsibilities
- Leading and align the team to tech roadmap, staff planning and business goals
- Determining project requirements, prioritize workloads and developing work schedules for the team.
- Analyzing and adjusting the teams workflows to keep the efficiency and quality high.
- Identifying risks, Investigate and resolve customer and operational issues with the mentality of solving the root cause instead of just fixing issues.
- Automate recurring tasks and practice of keeping third party, open source tools and technologies up to date, secure and performant.
- Employ advanced monitoring practices and technologies to detect and automatically resolve platform and office infrastructure issue
- Organize and take part in our on-call duty
- Manage the life cycles of hard- and software. Setup guidelines and documentation
- Ensure provision of a hands-on and reliable Office IT helpdesk support, define SLA / OLA and track them
- Manage operation of SAP and finance related systems together with our SAP Application Specialist and service providers
- Collaborate closely with other IT teams and other departments to solve tasks efficiently
Requirements
- Strong understanding and troubleshooting skill of the linux and windows system
- Understanding of Windows Active Directory
- Understanding of Network Administration
- Understanding of public cloud environments and on- premise/co-located datacenter
- Strong customer services and problem-solving skills
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service, be a good listener and work well with others
- Self-motivated, able to work independently, and takes initiative
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to learn new content areas and new skills quickly and well required
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education in IT is required
- 1+ years working in management position of an IT department, ideally with a strong service mandate and leading at least 2 to 5 people
- 4+ years experiences as an IT System Administrator for Client Technology or as DevOps Engineer or similar position
- ITIL qualifications are a plus
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker are a plus
- Passion for games
- Fluency in written and spoken English and German is mandatory
