LCS Competitive Operations II, North America

You’ll work directly with the Head of Competitive Operations in North America, the LCS product lead, the publishing, creative and broadcast teams and subject matter experts in league management, events, partnerships, influencer management, amateur and scholastic and player development to help oversee match operations for the LCS. You will be directly responsible for all aspects of the League’s oversight of player and team personnel, as well as tournament and league administration, including team roster management, competitive information management, prizing administration and referee oversight.

- Communication: Whether you’re writing an email, having a conversation with your neighbor or crafting the next set of competitive rules and regulations, you’re able to state things clearly and concisely without hurting anyone’s feelings; you can identify volatile tournament situations at a glance and step in to settle-down stressed competitors before things escalate
- Integrity: Even though you’re a diehard esports fan, you temper your enthusiasm and never play favorites; you know the reputation of the LCS hinges on fair, competitive play, so you firmly and respectfully enforce rules and set boundaries
Required Qualifications:
- Avid LoL Espor ts fan and League of Legends player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented and digitally organized
- Experience working with remote teams and external vendors
Desired Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience working in a competitive esports position, either organizing and operating competition or working on the team side at any level of competition.
- Working knowledge of League of Legends as a game and of competitive League of Legends
