LATAM UX/UI Designer

We’re seeking a talented LATIN AMERICAN UI/UX Designer / Artist who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about creating exceptional user interfaces and experiences for mobile games. You’ll be part of a small, agile team, working closely with game designers, artists, and engineers to bring our game interfaces to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• UI/UX Design: Create visually stunning 2D art assets, including icons, menus, HUDs, and other interactive elements, ensuring they align with the game’s style and vision.

• Animation: Design and implement juicy, dynamic animations and transitions that enhance the user experience and bring UI elements to life.

• Unity Integration: Set up UI layouts and hierarchies within Unity, creating intuitive and responsive user flows.

• Implementation: Collaborate with developers to integrate your UI/UX designs into the game, ensuring smooth functionality and a polished final product.

• Prototyping: Develop wireframes and prototypes to communicate design ideas and iterate based on feedback from stakeholders.

• Optimization: Maintain best practices for optimizing assets for performance, scalability, and memory usage on mobile platforms.

• User Testing: Conduct usability tests to gather user feedback and make data-driven adjustments to enhance the overall experience.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 3+ years of experience as a UI/UX Artist in the gaming industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing your 2D art, animation, and interface design work.

• Skills: Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Figma (or similar). Familiarity with general 2D/3D game art creation is a plus.

• Unity Expertise: Strong understanding of Unity’s UI system and setting up UI layouts and hierarchies.

• Animation: Knowledge of creating engaging UI animations, transitions, and visual effects to enhance user interactions.

• Technical Mindset: Ability to work closely with developers and understand the technical aspects of UI implementation and performance optimization.

• Problem Solver: Excellent attention to detail, with a knack for solving complex design challenges and creating user-centric interfaces.

• Communication: Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to present and articulate design ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
