Korean-English Interpreter

We are looking for a Korean-English Interpreter/Translator to support an executive with written and verbal communication. In this role you will work among team members across various departments to facilitate efficient internal communications and collaborations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Provide high quality simultaneous and consecutive interpretation during meetings to and from Korean to English
• Translate (Korean-English and vice versa) emails and a variety of documents including legal, proposals, development plans, marketing/PR materials, etc.
• Liaise between the internal teams to provide a smooth communication process.
• Occasional travel within the US to support meetings.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

• Previous experience as a translator and/or interpreter
• Strong English & Korean language skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong cultural understanding of English and Korean
• Ability to interpret conversations, quickly and accurately, in small and large meetings to and from Korean to English
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize workflow and time management

NICE TO HAVE

• Translation/Interpreter degree
• Previous experience in the game/tech industry
