Junior Web Developer

Job Description

Job responsibilities:

• Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using the best development practices
• Create website layouts and user interfaces by using standard HTML/CSS practices
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases

Qualifications

Job requirements:

• Beginner knowledge of PHP
• Minimal knowledge of OOP concepts in PHP (classes and objects, inheritance, interfaces etc.)
• Able to understand and use PHP code written by other developers
• Familiar with basic concepts of MySQL databases
• Able to write simple data manipulation queries in MySQL (SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE)
• Intermediate knowledge of HTML5 markup and CSS
• Able to write W3C compliant HTML5
• Able to work with front-end CSS frameworks (bootstrap or similar frameworks)
• Able to style webpages according to a given design using CSS
• Basic knowledge of Javascript/Jquery
• Able to give webpages minimal front-end functionality (click events, animations etc.)
• Able to understand and work with Jquery plugins

• Willingness to learn new things constantly
• Self-starter, having a high level of ownership
• Enthusiastic and eager to take on new challenges
• Results driven, focused on delivering quality work
• Team player
• Ability to communicate your ideas with both technical and non-technical parties
