Job Description

As a Voice designer you will implement the artistic vision and technical and organizational content pertaining to the voices/dialogues at all game production phases (design, prototype, create, support and implement).

Your daily adventure

FOLLOW TASKS

and directions according to the projects needs and creative direction, respecting budget and performance constraints

WORK WITH THE PIPELINE
and tools used on project by collaborating with the programming and OASIS (TG) teams
Suggest modifications according to the needs of the other design teams (game/level/sound design)

IMPLEMENT NARRATIVE
and systemic dialogue for the game

EDIT, MASTER AND DELIVER VOICE ASSETS
according to loudness specifications

WORK ON DIALOGUE PROTOTYPES
with game designers, programmers, writers etc.
Assist with the voice/dialogue integration in the game

VERIFY THE QUALITY OF DIALOGUE INTEGRATED
into game and assist with debugging

ASSIST WITH THE ORGANIZATION, MODIFY AND SHARE DATA
to facilitate voice integration by other working units
Modify tools (game engine, oasis) and add features in the sound engine;

PLAY AN ACTIVE ROLE IN DEBUGGING
and ensure the quality of the final product

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE
Diploma / Degree in Audio Engineering / Production or relevant fields
Proficiency in operating studio-recording equipment
Basic knowledge in DAW software eg. Pro Tools, Nuendo, Reaper etc.

EXPERIENCE
Professional experience in dialogue editing and postproduction
Professional experience working with and recording voice talent

PRECISION
Able to manage large amounts of files and data with precision

MOTIVATION
Self-driven and passionate about dialogue production

COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Collaborate effectively with other team members

ADAPTABILITY
and willingness to quickly learn new software

Advantages
Experience in dialogue recording and post-production for narrative TV / film
Knowledge of voice and voice history in video games and experience in the field
Familiarity with game engines (Unreal, Unity etc.) or game audio middleware such as Wwise, FMOD, Fabric
Knowledge of programming languages
Proficiency in sound design
