You’ll be an awesome engineer who’s looking to join an already amazing team. You will work on a suite of mobile games, across 3 platforms. This includes new features, ongoing support, and entirely new games. You’ll have the engineering chops needed to implement UI/UX, art pipelines, and core gameplay. You’ll be a team player, with excellent communication, who enjoys using your skills to help other disciplines.
This is a hands-on engineering role and will be primarily focused on development within Unity using C#. You’ll also work with other libraries, systems, and services that build out the tech ecosystem that power our card games.
Responsibilities:
- Be a client engineer that helps ship successful evergreen games
- Build, maintain, and enhance games in Unity C#
- Triage bugs, integrate SDK’s, and develop reliable code
- Develop tools, utilities, and pipelines for our designers, production staff, and artists
- Communicate timelines, own tasks, and participate in Scrums
- Relate to our mottos: “Slow Down to Speed Up” and “Agile Reliability”
Qualifications
- B.S. in a relevant field (or comparable studio experience)
- Strong Unity C# experience, with an emphasis on 2D, UI, and/or Game Logic
- 0-2 years in professional game development with proven past performance
- Strong OO skills
- Emphasis on reliable, maintainable code
- A growth mindset that embraces continuous learning (i.e. Kaizen)
- Excited about evergreen games that impact millions of players

Please Note: Our office is currently closed as a health precaution due to the ever evolving global Covid-19 pandemic, as such this role will begin remote, but permanently will be either in the office (Irvine, CA) or a flexible/hybrid schedule with 1/2/3/4 days work from home (to be determined by yourself and the team)
