Job Description
Ubisoft, a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry, is currently seeking a Junior Sales Analyst. This individual will be responsible for supporting the Market Intelligence team by providing analytical and reporting support for Ubisoft products and the market, as well as optimization of our data architecture and queries.
The position is located in San Francisco, CA, and will need to be available to work 30+ hours per week during Pacific Business Hours, with the role scheduled for three months with possibility of extending further. This will report directly to the Data Strategy Manager, Market Intelligence.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Reporting & Analysis
- Maintain reports in Tableau, Excel and Access including both regular weekly/monthly reports and ad-hoc reports. Communicate results with sales managers and other internal teams
- Provide data analysis and UAT testing to support business intelligence reporting
- Prepare and send weekly analysis on performance of our game pre- and post-launch
- Collaborate with Business Intelligence team to automate integration of data in our systems
- Work on ad-hoc market-level projects on gaming industry trends
- Build SQL queries and validate data to improve current processes
- Support building Python models to develop KPIs; Analyzing and modeling data to unlock key insights and to improve internal processes; Data manipulation and modeling using advanced statistical knowledge and programming languages such as Python/R
Qualifications
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with advanced Excel skills
- Proficiency with SQL
- Familiarity with Tableau data visualization is an asset
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python for job automation or data analysis work is a plus
- Interest in video game industry
- Must have strong organizational, writing, and verbal skills
