We are looking for someone like you to become our all-new Junior QA Analyst and join our passionate and talented QA team, where we are building on the years of success that Rebellion has enjoyed.
Junior QA Analyst role:
The Junior QA Analyst is a new role dedicated to ensuring the standard of our games to an industry leading standard. You will support with the testing games and applications across various platforms in line with test plans. You will learn how to write concise bug reports, providing all relevant support information and provide clear, concise, critical analysis. As part of the QA team, you will play a key role in providing QA support across all of Rebellion’s exciting titles.
This role would suit someone with a passion for all things games, some understanding of testing games and knowledge of game testing models would be beneficial.
The Rebellion QA team is dedicated to ensuring all the games Rebellion release are designed and developed to the highest standard.
Responsibilities:
- With guidance, test games and applications across various platforms in line with test plans
- With guidance, write concise bug reports providing all relevant supporting information such as screenshots, videos and game logs
- Carry out examinations, reproductions and revisions of existing issues
- Provide clear and concise critical analysis and feedback when requested
- Create and maintain clear, well defined test plans
- Maintain and update bug database
- Implement and incorporate feedback from Producer and Leads into work
- Develop an understanding of project tools and their functions, the project file classification system and the process of updating engine data
- Develop an understanding of best practices, production pipelines and workflows
- Support the Lead QA Analyst in any ad hoc tasks and duties

Requirements
- Basic knowledge and understanding of software testing models
- Basic knowledge and understanding of bug testing and tracking software (JIRA, Devtrack)
- Basic knowledge and understanding of current gen TRC/XR/Lochtecks
- Able to adapt to new processes
- Basic knowledge and understanding of the video game development process
- Basic Knowledge and understanding of production pipelines
- Basic knowledge and understanding of data management software
- Able to manage workload with guidance
- Able to solve problems of basic complexity
