Junior Product SpecialistSummary
The success of the position is measured by the ability to assist in the commercialization of products by market. The individual will be supporting the rollout of key products and markets. This position supports the current product lines currently being driven by the Product Commercialization Manager.What you'll do
- Reviews the pre-release processes to ensure all activities and dependencies are ready for commercial release for Class II, Class III, and VLT.
- Supports and delivers secondary market needs per the direction of the Product Commercialization Manager.
- Reviews the regression testing priorities and provides updates to key stakeholders.
- Works with various key stakeholders for end of life of platforms, peripherals, and games.
- Completes tasks as assigned to fulfil the secondary market deliverables for Ohio VLT, North Carolina, Ontario, West Virginia, and Quebec.
- Provides the key reports that load into CPQ that allows for game configurations.
- Executes product configuration ECO’s as directed by Product Commercialization Manager.
- Organizes and facilitates Mini Product Development Process (PDP) key content distribution.
Process Gap Analysis
- Works with the Product Commercialization Manager to capture administrative and configuration mistakes with the intent of collaborating on process improvement.
- Ensures Game Development Brief (GDB) is completed correctly and on time for specific markets as required.
- Works with Program Management to highlight risks and prioritize requirements.
- Drives data analysis of submission and approval targets.
Key Product
- Maintains and distributes new cabinet and Tier 1 content approval status to key stakeholders.
- Supports the Senior Program Manager as required with respect to Engineering Change Orders (ECO), approvals, game details, and technical support.
Other
- Other duties as assigned in line with Business objectives.
- Supports Sales in ad hoc reports and administrative tasks.
Experience and Qualifications :
- Have a background in managing multiple projects at same time.
- Requires an Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field, or its equivalent experience.
- SQL knowledge (1-year user experience) preferred.
Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications:
- Must understand and gain knowledge of supported products, infrastructure, and methodologies.
- Must have general technical and business knowledge to understand all factors which affect project planning, execution, and management.
- Must have strong analytical, problem identification, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experienced in Microsoft Access, SQL, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ability to synthesize complex or diverse information.
- Works in cross functional teams within the company to complete projects.
- Desire to understand slot products and what makes successful slot games.
- Ability to align work with strategic goals.
- Ability to prioritize and plan work activities.
- Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must have strong communication skills, be able to work independently, and be
team oriented. - Ability to work in large cross collaborating teams.
- The occasional need to travel.
- Must be self-motivated and a self-starter.
- Must be able to work from home or in the office effectively.
This position may require registration with the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) and/or other gaming jurisdictions in which we operate.
Physical, Mental, and Environmental Demands:
- Assigned duties are accomplished primarily in an office/production setting. Must be able to maneuver around an office/production setting, work at a desk/workstation and respond to written and oral cues.
- Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office/production equipment.
- May be required to bend, reach, and lift (up to 25lbs).
