Our PR & Communications team is comprised of highly experienced PR, Marketing and Communications specialists who are passionate about these games and they work together to develop / implement communication strategies to help to drive sales for 2K’s multi-format videogame releases in the UK Marketplace.



What We Need:

Reporting into the Senior UK PR Manager, the Junior UK PR Manager will take on a key role by supporting the team in areas such as media outreach, product awareness, asset dissemination, execution of PR Plans, research planning, reporting and attending industry events.



What You Will Do:

• Working with the Senior UK PR Manager to plan and develop the PR and Communications strategy across 2K’s multi-format videogame releases, leading on key projects within these plans
• Lead on news announcements, championing 2K’s titles to press and encouraging conversations around our titles, generating mass awareness and positive coverage across our market
• Ensuring our news and asset outreach is maximised and in the best and easiest possible formats for media recipients to include in reporting
• Proactively seek new media relationships whilst taking ownership of existing specialist media relationships, including enthusiast press and lifestyle media, fuelling ongoing conversations around our titles
• Co-ordinate preview and review code requests and opportunities with UK media
• Work with the Senior UK PR Manager to ensure UK events are created and executed to the highest possible standard
• Work closely with 2K’s PR and Communications agencies to keep our PR plans, activities and results on track
• Ensure that PR reporting is completed accurately, in a timely manner and communicated effectively to relevant parties, working with the PR agency to complete or support as/when required
• Proactively work alongside the UK Social and Community team to ensure UK plans are supported, synced and integrated where possible
• Work closely with your line manager, as well as the International Communications team, plus UK Marketing and UK Sales teams, to ensure plans are implemented on time and are in accordance with global plans and local sales strategies
  
  

Who We Think Will Be a Great Fit:

• You will possess at least 1-2 years of PR experience, preferably gained within the gaming, tech or entertainment industry.
• Passion for PR, marketing and creativity within these fields
• Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in recording and reporting
• Strong ability to multi-task whilst working with varied timelines/deadlines and managing budgets.
• A degree level qualification, in PR or Communications would be advantageous
• Both in-house and PR agency experience is desirable
• A keen gamer, with knowledge of gaming and the industry
• Excellent oral and written communication in English
• Diplomatic communicator, sensitive to cultural differences
• Self-motivated and a flexible, can-do attitude
• Love of travel and attending industry events
• Professional and mature attitude with a strong desire to succeed
