Junior Networking Tester

Job Description
As a part of the Networking team you will be responsible for checking multiplayer session operation. Your task will be to look for issues with online connection, including bugs with connection via various devices and possible gameplay problems during services degradation.
You may be in charge of several projects at the same time, where your primary goal is to identify issues, to manage and plan your work autonomously, create necessary documentation as well as to communicate with developers and other stakeholders.

Qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Manage one or more projects, following established team actions and processes.
- Execute & coordinate Networking test when the project requires it and offer feedback to the production team on the level and quality of implementation.
- Create/Design custom network setups (in or outside the team), based on the project’s needs.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot test platforms or networking tools.
- Collaborate and act as a liaison between Production teams, QC teams and complementary teams;
- Report the status and progress of the tests to involved stakeholders and management of the referred project on a tests cycle basis.
- Seek new ways to improve own skills, as well as the tools and procedures used in testing.
Requirements:
- Upper Intermediate English, written and spoken.
- Understanding of testing methodologies and development lifecycle
- Understanding of networking (TCP/IP)
- Knowledge of Ethernet traffic analyzers: Wireshark, tcpdump, etc.
- Knowledge of networking hardware (routers, switch, etc) and ability to troubleshoot these devices
- Strong knowledge of at least one of these platforms: XBOX One, PS4, PC, Nintendo
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, TestRail, or similar test management tools
Desirable (optional):
- Experience in software/games testing
- Knowledge of Linux environment

- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work autonomously when required.
- Analytical, multitasking, debugging and problem-solving abilities.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Initiative and ready to challenges.
- Team player.
