Junior Marketing Assistant (6-months)

As a Junior Marketing Assistant at East Side Games, you will support our social media efforts for our exciting in-house games, including Trailer Park Boys: Greasy Money , Cheech & Chong: Idle Tycoon , and The Office: Somehow We Manage . You will create engaging promotional content for app stores and manage newsletters, push notifications, and other communication channels to reach and engage with our players. Additionally, you will play a key role in assisting with new marketing initiatives, contributing to our overall strategy and success. This is a 6-month position with potential for extension or permanent placement.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Create social posts and engage with the community on Social Media for feedback, announcements, and bugs.
• Work with product, marketing & production on new feature announcements.
• Submit store features to improve organic traffic.
• Create and send newsletters
• Work with our IP partners for inclusion in their marketing materials
• Work on editing, proofreading, posting, blogging, and creating other inbound content.
• Assist games teams and customer support with social media messaging for live operations issues.
• Report and track the effectiveness of social content and email campaigns.**Duties and Responsibilities outlined are representative, but not all inclusive

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

• Some experience in marketing, preferably in the gaming or entertainment industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
• Proficiency in Photoshop.
• Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative marketing ideas.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.

Compensation Range: $45K-$55K per annum. Salary is determined by experience, skills, and capabilities.
