Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated Junior local IT Technician to join the Italian Ubisoft family.
The Junior Local IT Technician will report directly to the IT Manager and will be responsible for delivering on-site and remote support on the hardware and software of Ubisoft employees.
Responsabilities:
- Offer support both remotely and on-site to end users on hardware (workstation and printing) and standard software (Windows OS, office pack)
- Support in managing the local infrastructure (servers and network) when required
- Ensure the use of best practices for applications and workstations
- Assist in the continued improvement of the local IT environment
- Configuration and preparation of new employees’ workspace
- Ensure proper meeting room configuration
- Management of hardware repair and replacement
- Maintain the asset inventory
- Ensure follow-up on issues and requests
- Update knowledge base with newly diagnosed problems
- Carry out all other related tasks
Qualifications
Requirements:
- University degree in Information Technology or equivalent
- Experience in tech support or equivalent experience in a IT support role
- Expertise in PC and laptop support
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and the Office suite
- Good knowledge of printers
- Good knowledge in Mobile support
- Good knowledge of networking and cabling (Cisco experience is a plus)
- Good knowledge of SCCM and Active Directory
- Strong English skills (spoken and written)
As a plus:
- Knowledge in various remote working platforms (Citrix, Teradici, etc)
- Linux knowledge
- Knowledge of multimedia equipment
- Scripting ability (batch files, VBScript, PowerShell)
- Knowledge of the Microsoft server platforms
- Mac OS X knowledge
- MCSE, MCSA or MCP and other relevant certifications
