Junior IT Systems Administrator

The Junior IT Systems Administrator will be responsible maintaining computer systems and networks, aiming for the highest functionality, updating policies, troubleshooting issues, and training end-users on the systems to make appropriate and safe usage of the IT infrastructure of our studio in Katowice.
Duties and Responsibilities
⦁ Log, Track and Manage all incidents, problems, and support requests in the Keywords Local IT Helpdesk Ticket System.
⦁ Perform Day to Day Helpdesk responsibilities including but not limited to responding to IT tickets
⦁ Be the local escalation point of contact, ensure timely notification of an incident, and escalate larger issues to the Regional IT Team – making sure to follow-up on these, and to update local employees, and Management, as necessary;
⦁ User Account/Permissions management
⦁ Troubleshooting and new joiner onboarding, in accordance to current IT standards and updates
⦁ Desktop & Laptop computer installation, configuration, patching/updating, and repair
⦁ Ensure that all operating policies and processes are followed and report any issues
⦁ Maintain high levels of IT security
⦁ License and Media management
⦁ Application version control
⦁ Ensure that all operating policies and processes are followed and report any issues
⦁ Document the local setup and keep up to date at all times
⦁ Support the IT Manager’s objectives
⦁ Network troubleshooting
⦁ Maintains accurate hardware and software inventory
⦁ Other duties as assigned
Skills & Experience Required
⦁ Bachelor’s Degree in IT or equivalent technical experience
⦁ Minimum 2 years of IT technical experience
⦁ Experience with MS AD
⦁ MS Office 365 (Hybrid environment)
⦁ MS Windows Server 2016-2019
⦁ Demonstrated superior interpersonal and communications skills
⦁ Proactive, Self-Starter and able to work independently
⦁ Hands on experience in computer software and hardware, and a variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems is a must
⦁ Strong knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within IT industry standards and corporate help desk procedures
⦁ Basic Linux Knowledge is an advantage
⦁ Ability to learn new concepts and technologies quickly
⦁ Strong documentation and reporting skills
⦁ Fluent English & Polish
⦁ Availability to work onsite in our Katowice office
