Junior Graphic Designer [Tom Clancy's The Division 2]

Job Description
As a Graphic Designer at Massive Entertainment, you will be working closely with our marketing, world building and art direction teams to contribute to the immersive world of Washington D.C: by developing fictional brands and in-game assets based on real world marketing.
The role comes with a lot of freedom and we expect you to use your fullest potential and skills to create the most naturalistic environments possible. You should be self-motivated and have a professional attitude towards work and colleagues, as well as being able to both give and take constructive feedback.
This is a permanent position based in Malmö, Sweden, and requires working onsite. We kindly ask you to apply with your CV and message to the hiring manager / cover letter in English. Applications will be reviewed whilst the job-ad is posted.
Responsibilities
- Creating documentation for branding campaigns to support the level art team to consistently achieve immersive world building for example billboards and on trash-bins
- Creating brands from real life reference (example: Burger King > Admiral Burger, Starbucks > Kerman Coffee) including logo creation and campaign design
- Creating brands for fully fictional entities (Black Tusks as example)
- Developing advertisement campaigns of the fictional branding to be consistent
- Organizing the creation of in game assets by working with the team to create the in-game assets based on the fictional brands
- Creating in-game assets to define the visual style
- Providing briefs to concept art to create in-game assets from
Qualifications
You as a person
To suit this position you need a passion for games and a solid understanding of real-time asset and scene creation, with prior experience in 3D modelling, texturing and propping. It’s important that you can work independently within your area of competence and at the same time you must be able to work well within a team. As a person you are creative, team-spirited and result oriented. You should have very high standards and a mind-set to create the best open world RPG experience ever, whilst being able to estimate and manage your own time.
Besides the above we’re looking for someone with experience within the following areas:
- A couple of years’ experience working with branding and asset creation
- Ability to tell a story through naturalistic propping
- Solid understanding of industry standard 3D modelling packages
- Understanding of texture and material creation
- Relevant portfolio is required
