We’re looking for a passionate marketer who perhaps has a small amount of videogame marketing experience but has the potential to grow alongside us in the global brand team.
The role will be responsible for working alongside the Brand Manager helping with the positioning and origination of all Brand materials – including but not restricted to Key art, trailers, advertising assets, web creative, promotional materials, store collateral. Additionally, the candidate will be required to build rapport and confidence amongst the marketing teams all over the globe.
Alongside this the role offers an opportunity to develop an understanding of game development by working closely alongside the game creators ensuring the brand and game campaigns harmonise and the customers’ needs and wants are leading key decisions.
Build effective relationships with teammates in local SQUARE ENIX Europe offices, SQUARE ENIX America, our external development studio and SQUARE ENIX Japan, ensuring an understanding of our team’s requirements and needs to meet business goals.
Support the Brand team in the creation of the frontline marketing materials to support a AAA game launch. This requires the candidate to be good communicator both internally and externally with our partners to deliver quality on time and to budget. The candidate should not be afraid to break the mould we like original thinkers.
Present you ideas and articulate them to stakeholders, agencies and partners – to verbally visualise ideas, communicate plans and galvanise peoples support all require a strong confident communicator.
Be progressive in your thinking towards the digital market place both in terms of promoting the game through digital channels and selling. Be ahead of trends in this space.
Be hungry to learn more about brand marketing (promotional strategy, creative assets and visualisation, forecasts, key selling features, milestone delivery dates, promotional budgets and schedules, code demo ability, market/genre status and history, brand assets usage guidelines, competitive marketplace and relevant territory specifics, etc.). As well as communication strategies and tactics.
Provide consumer and market insight to inform the development of product and campaign effectiveness. Post mortem campaigns too and ensure knowledge and learnings improve the teams.

Knowledge & Experience:
Entry level experience of strategic and brand marketing/management ideally within the games industry.
Good and confident communicator/presenter.
Strong creative skills
Degree level of education or equivalent, and/or CIM qualification.
Excellent knowledge of the Western games market.

Understanding of game development, experience within a development studio.
Skills in adobe suite.
Shows passion and excitement about entertainment, keeping up to date with developments and trends.
Willing to travel and stay away from home. Valid passport to enable international travel, where necessary.
Keen interest in and knowledge of video games. Interested in and knowledgeable about technology.
