Junior Development Tester [The Settlers] (f/m/d)

Job Description
As our new Junior Development Tester on The Settlers, you will you will collaborate closely with the developers during all stages of game development, via providing qualitative feedback as well as testing and monitoring feature implementation. You will report bugs and verify fixes. Together with the QA team, you will approve milestone versions according to success criteria.
What you will do:
- Perform daily tests and take responsibility for quality and stability of new game content and features
- Collaborate with coders, artists and designers to provide feedback on design, create test cases and perform specific test runs
- Provide qualitative feedback about features in development
- Report and monitor software errors (bugs) and game design problems in a bug database
- Verify fixes applied by developers (bug regression)
- Perform periodical validation tests and write validation reports to assess the quality and completeness level of the new content
- Ensure that the tested software meets certification criteria as part of Milestone certifications
Qualifications
What you bring:
- Ability to investigate bugs to find their simplest reproduction steps
- Ability to describe complex bugs in concise writing
- Experience in working with test plans and reporting results
- Passion for teamwork
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
Nice to have:
- Proficiency in handling bug tracking databases (Jira or similar)
- Experience in AAA game development
- ISTQB foundation level
- Experience working in global teams
