Job Overview
Wargaming Sydney is seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to join our team for a 4 month paid internship program commencing from 1st March 2020 to 30th June 2020.
You will work alongside talented engineers in a supportive and fun environment. This is a good opportunity for a Junior Engineer who is interested in learning about Continuous Integration and also gaining exposure in the games development industry.
This is a full time role, 38 hours per week.
What will you do?
- Assisting in the development and maintain of infrastructure supporting our Continuous Integration pipeline.
- Working with developers and other engineers in the creation of build pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and Python.
- Updating documentation systems such as JIRA and Confluence with the progress of your work.
- Assisting with the design and development of new next-gen CI systems.
What are we looking for?
- You have a desire to automate repetitive tasks and have a solid grasp on the basics of programming. We use Python and shell among other things, but any modern language would be helpful.
- Have an interest in DevOps/CI processes and technology.
- Have some familiarity with source control systems (preferably Git and/or Perforce)
- An aptitude for solving problems.
- Great communication skills.
- A quick learner & team player.
