Junior Data Scientist, Game Teams

Tactile Games is looking for a Junior Data Scientist to join our Game teams.
As a junior data scientist at Tactile you will have the opportunity to work on large datasets (millions of users in our games), be a significant contributor to helping optimize the performance of our games. We know the value of data and machine learning and strive to combine classical and leading edge approaches to make our games better every day. It is not a requirement that you have experience in the gaming industry, what we value most is your ability to use data to solve difficult problems.
You will work closely with our data science teams and game teams, ensuring that we make informed decisions based on data.
General Responsibilities
- Support and add value to our Game team
- Work alongside other Data Scientists, user acquisition managers and back-end developers in order to improve team efficiency
- Collaborating on the design of experiments to verify assumptions and hypotheses
- Collaborating on designing new algorithmic approaches to solve difficult quantitative problems
- Create and support data visualization.
- Take part in the Quality Assurance process and the documentation of the current Data Science projects.
Requirements
- Understanding of statistical concepts such as sampling, distributions, hypothesis testing and confidence intervals
- Great attention to detail
- Be independent and proactive
- Team player – strong collaboration skills to support working across projects
- Quantitative background
- Participated in scientific / data science competitions
Nice-to-haves
- Experience using SQL to extract and transform large data-sets
- Experience developing predictive models and algorithms using Python/R
The position is for full time employment, on-site in our Copenhagen office
