Junior Data Scientist (Istanbul, Turkey)

Data Scientist is a cross-functional role that creates and sustains the data culture among game designers, developers, game artists, and marketing teams.

As a Junior Data Scientist at Gram Games, your role will be multifaceted. All things Gram are data-informed - it will be your job to drive that. You’ll be responsible for creating and improving statistical models to tackle problems, as well as for creating dashboards that will enable our production teams to gain insight into the titles they create and help us to create the best games in the world. You’ll work with our production teams to integrate data science models into our production systems to ensure that we are best demonstrating insights and data at all stages of our production process. We’re looking for someone with…

… a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field

… an understanding of the mobile games and free-to-play market,

… a strong knowledge of statistics and statistical techniques,

… the ability to distinguish correlation from causation, to identify and handle biases in data, and an understanding of the implications of sample size on the interpretation of results,

… hands-on experience in data analytics, predictive analytics, and big data environments,

… experience in turning a large amount of raw data into actionable intelligence that is meaningful to business decisions,

… experience using SQL, R / Python, Excel for analytical purposes,

… experience with Amazon Web Services products,

… an ability to keep up with a fast-paced environment,

… excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
