The Role
Ringtail Interactive is looking to hire an Junior Creative Designer, to be a part of our new internal creative team. The role will be a constant flow of new tasks, many different from day-to-day. The mainstay of the work will revolve around updating and creating graphical assets, to help us transition as we evolve and look to show the world what we’ve been working on for these last few years. From presentation templates to website assets, there’ll be a lot to keep you engaged. At the same time, sharing feedback and ideas on how we can make an impact will be encouraged.
On top of the creative design work, we’ll need support with generating in-game assets to be used in various locations like online stores, PR campaigns, social media channels and various internal and external websites.
Working directly within the Marketing and Communications teams means you’ll be in constant, direct communication with your peers and stakeholders at all times. Getting to know the development teams and everyone within Ringtail will also be key, but your work will speak for itself.
Essential Requirements
- A keen eye for design that appeals to specific demographics.
- A flair for creative ideation and design
- Drive to want to push what’s possible with the tools we have
- An understanding of the games industry, from it’s players to the people that make games.
- The ability to work within the constraints of brand bibles and reproduce styles across a multitude of media.
- The ability to convey messages through designs
- An understanding of what’s needed for different formats, platforms, online stores and other locations.
- Experience with tools like Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, Keynote/Powerpoint, Wordpress, etc
