Job Objective
Communication is about messaging, influencing, and building trust. The Junior Communications Designer contributes to all of them, directing the visual direction, creating assets, and ensuring it aligns with Ubisoft’s corporate branding.
As a member of the multi-discipline Communications team, the Junior Communications Designer collaborates with the team to handle comprehensive communications projects with his/her expertise in design,
Responsibilities
- Prepare various online and offline assets including but not limited to key visuals, event materials, graphics for social media marketing, editing & image retouching etc.
- Assist the Events Specialist in organizing studio events with focus on creative direction, visual effects, and activities content.
- Handle ad-hoc assets for transversal teams upon request, while ensuring Ubisoft’s brand guidelines are respected.
- Be the consultant and gatekeeper for all branded goodies created locally, checking on design and quality.
- Support the goodies design for the teams who do not have their own designers.
- Collaborate and support teams to deliver Communication projects.
Requirements
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or equivalent software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English
- Proactive team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Creative and detail-oriented
- Up to date with latest design and media trends
- Project Management mindset – able to juggle multiple projects at once.
- Interest in the gaming industry is a plus
- Diploma or above in Graphic / Design / Advertising / Creative Media or related disciplines is preferred
