Junior Animator

Rebellion is looking for a Junior Animator, Passionate about creating convincing character animation for games. Successful applicants will be talented, self-driven and enthusiastic, with a genuine interest in playing games. This role is for our Warwick Studio. Please include a link to your animation showreel demonstrating your ability to animate realistic human motion.
Requirements
- Ability to produce in-game animations to the highest standards of fidelity and style as demanded by the project
- Work within technical constraints
- Work effectively within the animation team, possessing strong time management skills that ensure tasks are completed on schedule, to the required standard
- Work effectively with other team disciplines (Art, Design & Code) to ensure the animation process is responding to the demands of the project whilst maintaining its aesthetic quality
- Be responsive to deadlines and work well under pressure
- Collaborate productively within a multi-disciplined team
Experience:
Game industry experience is preferred but not essential if you have successfully completed an animation degree.
Skills:
- Animate realistic human motion
- Rigging and skinning
- Experience with Motion Capture an advantage
- Knowledge of Motion Builder an advantage
- Continuation of your technical knowledge, including adapting to new technologies and processes
- Excellent use of Maya, with outstanding animation skills demonstrating knowledge and application of weight, timing, pace, poses and storytelling
- Excellent initiative, self-motivation, communication, organisational and problem solving skills, as well as team working and the ability to accept and follow direction
