THE ROLE
Jr. Visual Artist (Videographer)
The VOID is currently seeking a Jr. Visual Artist (Videographer) for our Lindon, UT office. This candidate will support video and visual arts efforts on behalf of the Marketing organization and will work alongside of the Sr. Visual Artist who leads deliverables for our internal and external digital partners.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Reformat and edit videos for our various locations and marketing needs.
- Reformat and change titles or motion graphics for our locations and marketing needs
- Assist on-set by shooting, lighting or recording audio.
- Facilitate internal video needs
- Organize projects and assets
- Film and create BTS footage
- Support quick edits and video manipulation
- Present edits to stakeholders and partners
WHO YOU ARE
- You are a motivated, creative, and innovative self-starter who requires minimal direction and thrives working on a team in an exciting, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- 2+ years using Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere professionally
- Start-up, entertainment, boutique agency experience preferred
- Interest in experiential technology, virtual reality, and/or millennial space preferred
- You can design and create motion graphics
- You have a solid understand different formats for exporting videos properly, along with pacing and editing workflows
- You can take a project from beginning to end
- Experience with Sony A7S II
- Knowledge of lenses, aperture, shutter and Iso
- You know how to properly frame and light when filming and have a basic knowledge of recording audio using a Boom mic
- Broad knowledge of filmmaking and videography
- You have a learner's mindset
