Jr. Technical Project Manager

Osmo is looking for a highly organized and detail oriented Junior Technical Project Manager to oversee the product development process from concept through mass production. The role will also be responsible for supporting sustaining, cost improvement projects, and product refreshes.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to produce best in class consumer goods that arrive on time and on budget. Successful candidates are able to communicate across functional groups to align expectations and drive projects forward to completion.

Responsibilities

• Managing RQFs, NPI, costing iterations, HW timelines in coordination with a global program team
• Establish aggressive, but realistic schedules and drive cost targets for the program/ project
• Communicate clearly and frequently, the status of the program/ project execution and compliance with the target business objectives, with the direct engineering and qualification teams as well as the broader cross-functional organization and senior management

Requirements

• 1-2 years engineering program/ project management experience in consumer goods
• Ability to manage complex technical program / project execution from concept to mass production
• Must be detail oriented, self-directed, with a high level of organizational skills
• Comfortable using Google Suite
• Experience with Asana a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with a global / international program / project team, including but not limited to Engineering, Product Management, Operations, and Manufacturing functions
• Excellent English language communication
• Must be willing to travel (~25%)
• PMP or CAPM certifications are a plus
• Mandarin and/or Cantonese a plus
