Mobcrush is a technology and streaming startup based in Santa Monica, CA. Our in-house Minecraft server, InPvP, hosts over 3 million monthly active users. We're partnered with Microsoft as 1 of 5 official Minecraft Multiplayer Servers.
We’re seeking an ambitious, fast-paced learner to join the Mobcrush team as a Jr Product Manager / Game Design. In this role, you will be working on the InPvP team, our in-house Minecraft server, on service compatibility, game updates, and stability. You will collaborate with a small team throughout the development life cycle on a schedule that keeps us as a leader in the market while expanding your technology skills set. You'll play an instrumental role in growing this gaming server and reach gamers worldwide.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage a predictable delivery schedule.
- Manage teams work-system and work with initiative leadership and other team leads to improvement the work-system.
- Manage team rituals such sprint planning, daily stand-ups
- You understand die-hard fandom and can empathize with our most avid players; you know the importance of listening to player needs because you are a player too
- Coordinate with other team leads to manage staffing and resource needs.
- Worked with engineers and have some sort of technical background
- Understand that every decision you made would impact players in different ways, so you are mindful about crafting seamless, player-worthy experiences.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Played or worked with Minecraft for 3+ year
- Worked with games and game designing
- Tech-savvy background with strength in utilizing data analysis tools and methodology
